Here's everything you need to know about how to defeat Queen Slime in Terraria and every item this boss can drop.

Before you can summon Queen Slime, you'll need to travel to the Underground Hallow and get the Gelatin Crystal. The Underground Hallow is a Hardmode biome that you can enter after defeating the Wall Of Flesh, and it's in the Cavern layer of the map. You can get the Gelatin Crystal from Pink Ice Blocks and Pearlstone in the Underground Hallow, as you can see in the picture above.
After you get a Gelatin Crystal, you can travel to Hallow and use the item to summon Queen Slime. This creature will appear regardless of the time of day, and you will be able to begin the fight right away.

Mode | HP | Defense | Melee Damage | Projectile Damage | Queenly Smash Damage |
Classic Mode | 9,000-18,000 | 26 | 60 | 60 | 80 |
Expert Mode | 14,400-28,800 | 26 | 120 | 120 | 160 |
Master Mode | 18,360-36,720 | 26 | 180 | 180 | 240 |
Before summoning Queen Slime, build a platform to fight the boss on. The platform will be useful because you won't have to worry about any obstacles restricting your movement, such as hills.
Once you've built the platform, summon Queen Slime. The boss moves quickly while bouncing around the battlefield, so it's difficult to hit her with melee attacks. For this reason, you should bring a ranged weapon, such as a bow, which will let you attack Queen Slime while she's moving from a distance. If you want to use a melee weapon instead, then wait for her to jump a few times, after which she will usually take a quick break and become stationary for a short period.
The biggest threat you'll face are Queen Slime's smaller minions, who can attack you. The first minion is a Bouncy Slime that will fire bouncy projectiles towards you. The second minion is called the Crystal Slime, who can fire crystal projectiles in an upwards motion. The final minions are Heavenly Slimes, which will fly towards and attack you.
You need to defeat the minions as they spawn and dodge the projectiles as they create them. If you don't defeat the minions quickly, then you may be overwhelmed by all the projectiles flying at you at once.
Try to prioritize defeating Heavenly Slimes, Bouncy Slimes, then Crystal Slimes, in that order. Queen Slime herself will also shoot bouncing projectiles at you, so you need to watch for them and avoid them as they come.

When Queen Slime reaches below 50% HP, she'll grow wings and start to fly around the battlefield. At this stage, Queen Slime can pass through surfaces and attack you from above, so a ranged weapon is essential if you want to attack her easily. The boss will also start to shoot almost twice as many projectiles as before. However, the creature will stay the same for the rest of the fight.
Keep attacking Queen Slime with a ranged weapon until she dies. She moves very quickly at this stage of the fight. If you want to use a melee weapon, then wait until she flies close to you before attacking her. Once Queen Slime is dead, you can pick up the rewards she drops.
